119 Student Trainees Graduate Following TDSO–PTTCSR Teacher Development Partnership

The best investment in education isn’t a building or a textbook. It’s a well-prepared teacher.

That investment was celebrated as 119 student trainees graduated from the Siem Reap Provincial Teacher Training College (PTTCSR), marking the beginning of their professional journey as teachers.

TDSO was honoured to contribute to their preparation through its partnership with PTTCSR by delivering the English Teaching Methodology component of the pre-service teacher education programme. The training focused on practical, student-centred teaching approaches, enabling student trainees to bridge educational theory with effective classroom practice before they begin teaching.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the quality of teacher preparation in Cambodia. By combining the strengths of teacher training institutions with evidence-based teaching methodology, future teachers graduate with the confidence, skills, and professional mindset needed to create engaging learning experiences from their very first day in the classroom.

TDSO values its partnership with PTTCSR in preparing the next generation of teachers and remains committed to working with teacher training institutions to strengthen teacher development and improve learning outcomes for children across Cambodia.

Congratulations to all 119 graduates on this significant achievement. We wish them every success as they begin their teaching careers and inspire the next generation of learners.
