Cambodia in the Belgian classroom

While training Teachers in Cambodia is our first responsibility, we feel we have to inform primary school pupils in Belgium to.  Life in Belgium and life in Cambodia are very different. Houses, roads, schools, … everything looks different.

For many children in Belgium, it’s a real eye-opener. They’ve heard about developing countries but never seen pictures of what it is in reality. They’ve seen on the news, but that’s only when there is war or when natural catastrophes occur.

Peter Thiels, our Belgian chairman, and Ludwig Jegers visited 3 different primary schools in Haacht (a village close to Brussels). They had an exciting meeting with over 60 pupils of 3 primary schools. To be continued … All pupils were very enthusiastic and eager to know more about Cambodia and its beautiful people.
