TDSO, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving education in Cambodia, launched its pilot project for DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) on September 6, 2023. This project aims to strengthen and enhance the reading and presentation skills of 49 students from two secondary schools in Siem Reap.

In addition to improving reading comprehension, the DEAR project also aims to enhance students’ presentation skills based on STEM topics. Students will be given opportunities to present their book reviews to their peers and teachers, enabling them to develop their public speaking skills, teamwork spirit, and communication skills.

The DEAR project is a pioneering initiative that has the potential to make a significant impact on the education of students in Cambodia.
