
Job Title: STEM Teacher/Teacher-Trainer for climate-change-related topics
Position Overview
Cambodia is grappling with profound challenges as climate change increases temperatures, and unpredictable weather patterns profoundly affect daily life and the educational sector. Greenspots, a Climate Change-Resistant Schools Project, has been conceived as a proactive measure to create a sustainable and resilient educational environment to withstand these environmental adversities. This project is built on three key pillars: enhancing infrastructure, providing STEM education and teacher training, and fostering community involvement. Integrated within a broader Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) framework, the initiative aims to tackle climate change locally and globally through a holistic, education-centric approach.
Greenspots is a joint TDSO (Teacher Development Support Organization) and NEP (NGO Education Partnership) initiative and is looking for a STEM Teacher/Teacher Trainer
Position Details
- Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
- Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia

Key Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum and lesson plans, based on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach
- Deliver lessons in collaboration with regular teachers
- Various levels (primary and secondary schools)
- Coach teachers and help deliver climate-change-related content.
- Willing to travel regularly to other provinces
Requirements
- Relevant education and experience, at least a bachelor’s degree
- A few years of experience as an English or STEM Teacher
- Fluent in English and Khmer
- Experience in teacher training, mentoring, or coaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
