TDSO Research Officer Featured in Cambodianess on Cambodia’s English Education Future

TDSO is proud to share that our M&E and Research Officer, Vitou Tes, has been featured in Cambodianess with an insightful analysis of the challenges facing English education in Cambodia.

In the article, Vitou highlights the urgent need for long-term investment in teacher development and equitable access to quality education. As he states: “Improving English education will require more than adding language courses to school curriculums. Cambodia must invest in teacher training, classroom resources, and equal access to quality education between urban and rural areas.”

This message strongly reflects TDSO’s ongoing mission. Over the years, TDSO has worked across Cambodia’s provinces to strengthen teacher capacity, support schools, and collaborate closely with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to improve the quality of English education nationwide.

Through teacher training programmes, coaching support, and educational partnerships, TDSO remains committed to ensuring that all students, regardless of location, have access to meaningful and high-quality learning opportunities.
