A Cambodian classroom today. A Lao classroom tomorrow. What happens in between?
TDSO is delighted to welcome Mr. Vilasai Thammavong, Director of LaoCYDA – Lao Child and Youth Development Association, and his assistant, together with two Lao trainers, joining an intensive Training of Trainers (ToT) programme at TDSO – Teacher Development Support Organisation.
Over the next four weeks, the Lao trainers will learn, practise and experience teacher development in real Cambodian classrooms, observing lessons, engaging with teachers and exploring TDSO’s practical approaches.
But the real question is:
How can this experience be adapted to the Lao context? What will it look like when these approaches move from Cambodian classrooms to classrooms in Laos?
This is the journey we are beginning together: learning in Cambodia, reflecting with TDSO, and preparing to bring new possibilities to teachers in Laos.
