What can teacher training institutions achieve through closer collaboration?
TDSO was pleased to be invited by Battambang Teacher Education College (BTEC) to participate in the 1st International Forum on 21st Century Teacher Education (IFTEC 2026), held on 18–19 October 2026.
As a co-sponsor, conference participant and Book Fair exhibitor, TDSO joined education professionals to exchange perspectives on teacher professional development, foundational learning and STEM innovation.
Collaboration between teacher training organisations and teacher education institutions creates opportunities to share practical experience, connect professional learning with classroom needs, and identify ways to provide teachers with more relevant and sustained support.
For TDSO, the forum provided an opportunity to strengthen connections with BTEC and the wider teacher education community, with a shared commitment to the quality of teacher preparation and professional development in Cambodia.
