Edubox
A teacher-facing tool for daily lesson preparation and delivery
Edubox helps primary school teachers prepare and deliver lessons within the national curriculum, in the everyday conditions of Cambodian classrooms. It supports the daily classroom work that our coaching develops, helping good practice hold once it is in place. The tool is in development now and ready to pilot in Q4 2026.
What Edubox is
A tool teachers use themselves, on their own phones, to structure how they prepare and run lessons in class. It is built around the MoEYS national primary curriculum and organises teaching into clear weekly modules and individual lessons that a teacher can follow through the school year.

The tool is built upon Edubox1, a collection of teaching resources that was built over the recent years, and gradually was expanded to cover the entire curriculum.
How it fits our work
TDSO builds teaching quality in the classroom and then works to make it last. Coaching develops a teacher’s practice; Edubox helps that practice hold in daily work, lesson after lesson, once the coaching cycle moves on. It is a sustainability element, not a training course and not a replacement for coaching. The content in Edubox is not new: it is the same field-tested frameworks and materials TDSO already uses in its programmes, organised so a teacher can prepare and run a lesson with them in class. Edubox also runs alongside the government’s student-facing platform rather than duplicating it; the two serve different users and different purposes.
Built for real classrooms
Edubox is built to work in the conditions Cambodian teachers actually face, not the conditions software usually assumes.
→ Works offline. This is the core of the design, not an add-on. Teachers prepare and teach without an internet connection, and update the app when they choose to.
→ Aware of classroom equipment. Each teacher sets out what their classroom has, and the app shows only the activities that class can actually run, whether or not there is print, a display, audio or electricity.
→ Complete lessons in any classroom. Every lesson is designed so that a teacher with only a whiteboard and a teacher with a full computer room can both deliver it in full.
→ Supports the official MOEYS curriculum, made for the almost 60.000 public primary school teachers in Cambodia.
Where it is now (August 2026)
Edubox is in active development. A pilot is planned for Q4 2026 to test it with teachers in real classrooms. What we learn will shape a wider rollout across Cambodia’s primary teaching workforce from 2027.
