This programme has changed the teachers’ teaching and students’ learning outcomes.

This statement from the school principal captures what happened on 22 January 2026, when TDSO  celebrated the graduation of 21 teachers who completed the English Teaching Pedagogy Training Programme for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Over one year, these teachers developed learner-centred methodologies, practical classroom techniques, and effective ICT integration. The focus was on changing teaching practice in real classrooms (not just on theoretical concepts), with observable improvements in student engagement and learning outcomes.

The graduation was attended by the Deputy District Governor, the Director of the District Education Office, school principals, TDSO alumni, and teachers from Prey Chrouk and Prasat Primary Schools. As the District Education Office noted, “TDSO’s work responds directly to the Ministry of Education’s national curriculum, where English is integrated and taught from Grades 4–6.”

With the strong commitment of both schools, TDSO will continue providing support through advanced teacher training in English proficiency and ICT integration.
