Yesterday, TDSO – Teacher Development Support Organization met with the Teacher Development Department នាយកដ្ឋានកិច្ចការវិក្រឹតការ TDD of the MoEYS Cambodia, led by Director Chan Tola.
While the teacher training landscape is subject to a deep reform, the conversation provided a timely opportunity to explore how collaboration can lead to lasting, classroom-level impact across Cambodia. We reflected on how TDSO’s work, including school-based mentoring, in-service training, and systems strengthening, can align with national efforts to build a more resilient and effective public education system.
Together, we discussed how resources might be targeted to maximise their reach and how joint efforts can be structured to ensure long-term capacity is built within the public sector. These conversations are not only strategic but also essential for building the trust, alignment, and shared understanding needed to make meaningful progress.
We thank Director Chan Tola and the TDD team for their openness and thoughtful engagement. TDSO looks forward to continued dialogue and deeper collaboration in the shared mission of advancing teacher quality across the country.
