TDSO – Teacher Development Support Organization has launched an intensive English training programme for 60 student teachers at the Siem Reap Provincial Teacher Training College (PTTC). This initiative is designed to strengthen their English language proficiency in preparation for their upcoming pedagogy training in August.
Delivered through a project-based learning approach, the course empowers two groups of 30 trainees to engage actively in dynamic tasks—from role plays and interviews to presentations and poster creations.
Over the next 20 weeks, trainees will build confidence in speaking, expand their vocabulary, and practise real-life communication through weekly themes such as classroom language, giving instructions, describing people, and expressing health and feelings.With this foundation, these future teachers are one step closer to becoming more effective, confident, and student-centred educators.
