Job Title: Project Coordinator (4 Positions-Regional)

Position Overview

TDSO (Teacher Development Support Organization) is seeking 4 motivated Project Coordinators to support the implementation of a large-scale teacher training program across 18 provinces in Cambodia. Each Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the program rollout in 4 provinces within a defined region and will be based at a regional office once onboarding is complete.

As part of their preparation, selected candidates will undergo a 4-month onboarding and induction period at the TDSO headquarters in Siem Reap. This phase will provide essential training, coordination tools, and team integration before transitioning to their regional assignments.

Regional Assignments – Teacher Training Institution Clusters

Each coordinator will oversee four institutions grouped by geographic proximity:

Region 1: Northern G North-Central Cluster

  • Preah Vihear PTTC
  • Stung Treng PTTC
  • Kampong Thom PTTC
  • Kratie PTTC

Region 2: Western G Upper Central Cluster

  • Battambang BTEC
  • Pursat PTTC
  • Kampong Chhnang PTTC C RTTC
  • Kampong Speu PTTC

Region 3: Southern G South-Western Cluster

  • Sihanoukville PTTC
  • Kampot PTTC
  • Takeo PTTC C RTTC
  • Kandal PTTC C RTTC

Region 4: Phnom Penh G South-Eastern Cluster

  • Phnom Penh PSTTC, PTTC, NIE, NISE (combined)
  • Kampong Cham PTTC C RTTC
  • Prey Veng PTTC
  • Svay Rieng PTTC

Region 5: Banteay Meanchey PTTC will be directly overseen by the Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination

  • Coordinate the implementation of teacher training programs in the assigned 4 provinces.
  • Develop and manage regional work plans and implementation schedules.
  • Oversee regional training logistics, venue management, and distribution of materials.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshoot local delivery issues.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build productive relationships with provincial education departments, district offices, and local partners.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for all institutional and government stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear and regular communication between the field and the central team.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track program activities, participant progress, and institutional performance.
  • Maintain accurate data, reports, and documentation for program evaluation.
  • Report regularly to the Program Manager with updates, risks, and recommendations.

Office and Team Support

  • Support regional office setup and coordination.
  • Supervise any regional assistants or facilitators, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and TDSO standards.

Ǫualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in education, training, or NGO work.
  • Experience coordinating with government stakeholders or managing field-level activities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both Khmer and English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in standard digital tools (Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Zoom, etc.).

Working Conditions

  • Initial 4-month onboarding based at TDSO Headquarters in Siem Reap.
  • After onboarding, based in a regional office (region to be confirmed upon appointment).
  • Frequent travel within assigned provinces (some overnight trips expected).
  • Reports to the Program Manager.
