TDSO and Siem Reap Provincial Teacher Training Centre (PTTC-SR) met on 10 July 2026 to review their ongoing collaboration and identify priorities for strengthening teacher education. Discussions focused on continued English teaching methodology training for new teacher trainees, support for the PTTC Practice School, the co-development of English language assessment tools and technical resources, and follow-up support for graduates. The meeting reaffirmed both organisations’ shared commitment to improving pre-service teacher education and institutional quality.

TDSO is pleased to welcome two new team members, Mr Ly Lon, who joins us as an English Language Trainer, and Mr Chheng Pha, our new Content Developer. Their skills and experience will strengthen our programmes and support the continued delivery of quality teacher development initiatives. We are excited to have them on board and look forward to the contributions they will make as we continue working together to support teachers and improve learning opportunities. We wish Lon and Pha every success in their new roles at TDSO.

TDSO is pleased to welcome Mr Chheng Menghorng as our new English Teacher Trainer. His appointment strengthens our capacity to support teachers through high-quality professional development and practical classroom-focused training. As TDSO continues to expand its programmes and reach more schools, Menghorng’s expertise and commitment will contribute to improving teaching and learning outcomes. We are excited to have him join the team and look forward to the valuable contributions he will make in supporting teachers and learners across Cambodia.

TDSO is pleased to welcome Mr Lot Tola as our new Junior Full-Stack Developer. He joins the Edubox development team to support the creation and long-term maintenance of TDSO’s mobile learning platform for primary school teachers. His role will help strengthen the organisation’s digital capacity as Edubox expands to serve teachers across Cambodia. We look forward to his contribution in advancing innovative technology solutions that improve access to quality teaching resources and professional development opportunities nationwide.

For the first time, students at TDSO Practice School took part in a Mock Debate Competition, demonstrating growing confidence in English communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. Through presenting arguments, responding to different viewpoints, and speaking before an audience, students developed valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom. This engaging learning experience highlights TDSO Practice School’s commitment to nurturing confident communicators and future leaders. TDSO is pleased to begin a new partnership with the Lao Child and Youth Development Association (LaoCYDA) to support teacher development in Laos. Building on more than ten years of experience in Cambodia, TDSO will work alongside LaoCYDA to strengthen second language teaching and classroom practice through practical, context-based approaches. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving education quality and supporting teachers through long-term collaboration, professional development, and sustainable learning opportunities for schools and communities across Laos.
