FREE Online Workshop – From Oral Stories to Digital Stories

Join the TDSO Alumni Meetup featuring Herman Bartelen, an experienced educator and author based in Japan. This interactive online workshop explores practical storytelling techniques for elementary and secondary EFL classrooms, helping teachers develop learners’ speaking, listening, vocabulary, confidence, and autonomy. Participants will also discover simple digital tools to extend storytelling activities and adapt lessons for both face-to-face and online learning environments. The session offers practical ideas that teachers can apply immediately in their classrooms.

TDSO and LaoCYDA Launch Partnership to Strengthen Teacher Development in Laos

TDSO is pleased to begin a new partnership with the Lao Child and Youth Development Association (LaoCYDA) to support teacher development in Laos. Building on more than ten years of experience in Cambodia, TDSO will work alongside LaoCYDA to strengthen second language teaching and classroom practice through practical, context-based approaches. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving education quality and supporting teachers through long-term collaboration, professional development, and sustainable learning opportunities for schools and communities across Laos.
